This
program was developed to provide practical skills to VCE students
at a time when study pressures and anxiety are high in their final
years.
The program is provided as a one day practical workshop that will
allow VCE students, (often selected from years 11 & 12) to participate
in a series of activities that will assist them in supporting each
other.
Skill developments in setting up their own support group, problem
solving, teamwork and how to communicate are covered in this day.
Students can expect that at the end of the day, they will come away
with a clear process of being able to work with others in Years 11
&12 in a constructive way. More ... |

| Taming
Your Temper. |
This
one full day program with additional exercises for ongoing interaction
is designed to introduce younger grade 4 students to the concepts
of assertiveness, self esteem and more importantly ways of handling
conflict. In today's environment, teaching students in how to feel
special about their own personal experiences and to interact socially
with other students has become increasingly more important. You are
never too young to learn.
This interactive program provides students with their own workbook
that is not only easy to follow but is fun. Each page offers valuable
information as well as the chance to colour in the many different
unique cartoons that appear. This booklet is also designed for family
members to write comments in and enjoy discussing with their child.
Teacher notes are provided for running additional short sessions with
students as a follow up. |
